You know that feeling that you get after you clean your entire house and you top if off by lighting a candle? Yeah, I love it too. I have always appreciated a good candle and often have spent an entire Saturday raiding the candle shelves in my local HomeGoods. Since 2020, I have made it an effort to only buy Black-owned soy candles and have been able to find so many amazing brands in the process! In my opinion, a good candle is one that is slow burning, non-toxic and has a strong scent that isn’t too overpowering. Here are some of my favorite Black owned candle companies that I think everyone should know about:
